Gautham Menon opts out and Soodhu Kavvum man steps in:

Gautham Menon was supposed to direct a segment of X the Film, which is being directed by ten other independent filmmakers and film critics, including Abhinav Shiv Tiwari, Anu Menon, Hemant Gaba, Pratim D. Gupta, Q, Raja Sen, Rajshree Ojha, Sandeep Mohan, Sudhish Kamath and Suparn Verma.

Gautham Menon was supposed to helm the segment penned by Thiagarajan Kumararaja. But the director has now started his own feature film with Simbu and is expected to begin another project with Ajith in the lead around February.

So, according to our sources Nalan Kumarasamy has stepped in to helm the segment. Our sources close to the Soodhu Kavvum director confirmed the development too. We also hear that the director will be starting his shoot very soon.
